Our English Language Acquisition teacher is one who is actively engaged in professional development and will work in close collaboration, as a co-teacher with classroom teachers and instructional assistants.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelors degree from an accredited institution (not online)
● Minimum two years of classroom English language teaching experience with young learners
● Knowledge of and ability to implement a variety of language learning and teaching frameworks

Preferred additional QUALIFICATIONS
● Masters degree in Applied Linguistics, Education, Second Language Acquisition, TESOL
● 120+ hour TESOL/TEFL Certificate (e.g. CELTA, SIT, Trinity) from a face-to-face course
● CELTA Young Learner certification
● Awareness of young learners’ developmental needs and learning capacities
● Experience working in more than one cultural context
● Knowledge and implementation of student assessments, e.g. WIDA
